Fr. J. Francis Sofie, Jr. was a priest of the Archdiocese of Mobile. A priest for over 25 years, he was a long-time retreat-master and friend of Casa Maria who has preached on several topics that include Accompanying Our Lord to Calvary, the Saints, and the Cross. He passed away in 2024. During COVID, Fr. Frank Sofie graciously agreed to give four reflections on the Season of Advent. We are happy to share these weekend conferences with you once again.

Having studied at the Angelicum and professed as a Diocesan Dominican in the Priestly Fraternity of St Dominic, Fr. Sofie’s clear and thorough reflections during the Advent Season will surely help you deepen your relationship with the Holy Family, journey with Our Lord to Bethlehem, and perhaps even help you develop a special devotion to St. Joseph before his dedicated year draws to a close.
